This is Joseph Matthew Tate's website, or, as I'm known to family, friends, colleagues and coworkers: Jody Tate.

I'm Partner and Chief Design Officer at A Cleaner Internet. We make browser extensions, mobile apps and other cool things. I also work as a User Interface Developer for AT&T Mobility.

I have two poems, "Punctuation" and "Signsong", soon to be published in the 17th issue of E·ratio.

I finished my Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Washington in August 2005. You can read my dissertation, Shakespeare, Prose and Verse: Unreadable Forms (1.14mb PDF file). I also edited The Music and Art of Radiohead in 2005 and I published an essay in 2009 that appears in Radiohead and Philosophy.
